Clear washroom signs are a small detail that customers notice straight away. In offices, restaurants, clinics, malls and schools, good signs save people from asking for directions and make your space feel well looked after. Here is what to consider.

Signs most businesses need

Men and women washroom signs.
Accessible toilet signs for people of determination.
Baby changing room signs.
Ablution and prayer room signs.
Staff only and cleaning in progress signs.

Order them from our toilet and washroom signs page.

Use Arabic and English

In the UAE, signs with both Arabic and English text plus a clear symbol work for every visitor. Keep the symbol large and the words short.

Choosing the material

Acrylic: modern and easy to clean. See our colourful acrylic door signs.
Stainless steel: durable for malls and busy areas. See stainless steel door signs.
Wood and metal: warm finishes for cafes and hotels, like the walnut metal door sign.

Match washroom signs with your other door signs so the whole building looks consistent.

Where to place them

On the door, at eye level, around 150 cm from the floor.
A projecting or hanging sign in corridors so people see it from a distance.
Direction signs at junctions in large buildings.
