Vehicle lettering and car logo stickers in Dubai
Vehicle lettering and logo stickers show your business name, services and phone number on cars, vans and trucks. Cut vinyl lettering is fast, clean and low cost.

Make the message readable on a moving vehicle
Vehicle lettering is most useful when it communicates a business identity without covering every panel. Start with the trade name and logo, then decide whether a service line or one phone number is needed. Small social icons, long lists and several calls to action can be hard to read from a distance. Review a scaled side and rear proof rather than judging lettering only on a screen.
Cut-vinyl names, logos and numbers
Coloured or single-colour cut vinyl works for simple shapes and typography on selected painted panels. Film choice, letter size, spacing and contrast depend on the vehicle colour and the actual artwork. Fine strokes and tiny details may be impractical at the proposed size. If gradients or detailed images are essential, ask whether a printed graphic is more suitable than individual cut letters.
Where to place the lettering
Front doors, side panels and rear doors each have different usable areas. Keep a name or contact line away from sliding-door travel, panel joins, handles, fuel flaps, locks, cameras, lights and registration details. Split rear-door layouts deliberately at the centre gap. Windows require a separate product and visibility review; see vehicle one-way vision graphics only if that is part of the brief.
Lettering versus a larger wrap
Lettering can leave most factory paint visible and use less material than a large wrap. It does not create the same full-colour coverage. For broad printed panels or an integrated colour system, compare van wraps or car branding. For several models, agree a master identity but proof dimensions and door positions on each vehicle.
Your vehicle lettering quote checklist
- Vehicle make, model, year and quantity
- Clear photos of both sides and rear
- Exact trading name, wording and phone number
- Vector logo or clean source artwork if available
- Preferred panels, colours and approximate size
- Paint condition, old vinyl, location and deadline
Tell us whether the vehicle is owned or leased, and share any operator or permit requirements already known.
Prepare the artwork and actual vehicle
Send your logo in an editable vector format where possible, with the exact business name and contact details to appear on the vehicle. Check spelling, number spacing, Arabic and English versions and the wording on your trade licence. A low-resolution screenshot may need redraw work before cut-ready artwork can be approved. The quote should distinguish design or artwork preparation from production and fitting. If files are not production-ready, discuss our signage design and artwork preparation before the lettering is cut.
Measure the usable panels, not just the overall vehicle length. Curved doors, recessed handles, body ribs and trims can interrupt a line of text. If multiple cars or vans are involved, record each model and keep the approved proof for future replacements. See fleet graphics for planning a consistent rollout.
Inspect paint, film and fitting scope
Lettering adheres to the vehicle surface underneath it. Send close photos of chips, rust, filler, repairs, old decals or recent repainting. 3M’s vehicle application bulletin describes pre-installation inspection and cleaning considerations; it is a technical reference, not a claim that Al Burooj supplies a particular film. Film selection and application must follow the chosen product’s current instructions for the actual surface.
Ask whether old lettering and adhesive removal, cleaning or repairs are included. Removal may expose a colour difference or weak paint, so a perfect paint result cannot be promised without inspection. Agree where joins or small pieces will be fitted, what areas are excluded and when the vehicle can be released for installation.
Approvals and a clear quotation
Check the Dubai vehicle-advertising category
Mada Media’s commercial-vehicle advertising service distinguishes logo and trade-name placement from wider wraps and lists current document and artwork requirements. The authorised owner or operator should confirm the applicable category and approvals before production, especially for leased vehicles or third-party advertising. A lettering quote does not include permit handling unless explicitly agreed. Other emirates may have different requirements.
Approve the final proof
Review the actual side and rear mock-ups for letter size, contrast, exact wording, Arabic and English copy, panel edges and safe clearances. Keep lights, reflectors, plates, required markings, windows and driver sightlines unobstructed. If special reflective material is requested, treat it as a separate specification; see reflective vehicle signage.
Price the actual scope
An itemised quote should separate artwork preparation, cut or printed graphics, film type, removal, surface preparation, fitting, travel and any approval support. Cost depends on letter size and complexity, quantity, vehicle model and condition; there is no useful fixed price without that brief. At handover, compare applied lettering with the signed proof and keep the artwork version and care guidance. Vehicle lettering questions
What information do you need for a vehicle lettering quote?
Send the make, model and year, photos of both sides and rear, exact wording, logo artwork, preferred panels and colours, quantity, current paint condition, location and desired date. Mention old graphics or any operator requirement.
Is cut-vinyl lettering different from a printed vehicle wrap?
Yes. Cut vinyl uses separate letters or simple shapes on selected panels; a printed wrap can carry detailed imagery or cover much larger areas. The best choice depends on the artwork, desired coverage and vehicle surface.
Can I letter just the doors or rear of my van?
A selected-panel layout can be discussed. Send clear photos and tell us which doors or rear panels you want. The final placement should avoid handles, door gaps, lights, plates, sensors and required markings.
How do you choose lettering size and colour?
Size and contrast are reviewed against the vehicle colour, usable panel, wording and expected viewing distance. Fine strokes and long service lists can be difficult to read, so we recommend checking a scaled proof on the actual model.
Can new lettering go over old decals or damaged paint?
Old film, adhesive, repairs and weak paint need review first. Removal and preparation may be quoted separately. Applying new vinyl does not repair the surface beneath it, and old-film removal may expose paint differences or damage.
Do I need approval for business lettering on a vehicle in Dubai?
The authorised vehicle owner or operator should check Mada Media’s current category and documents for the proposed design and use before production. Requirements may differ by placement and vehicle status; permit handling is included only if the quotation states it.
Can the same lettering be used across a fleet?
A consistent brand system can be adapted, but each make and model needs its own measured proof. Door seams, windows, panel size and rear hardware vary. Keep approved files so later vehicles and replacement panels match.
How much does vehicle lettering cost in Dubai?
Price depends on artwork preparation, letter size and complexity, film choice, number of vehicles, old-graphic removal, surface condition and fitting location. Request an itemised quote for the actual panels rather than a generic per-vehicle price.
Can vehicle lettering include Arabic and English?
Yes, if both approved versions of the wording and suitable artwork are supplied or prepared as part of the agreed design scope. Review the exact spelling, reading order, letter size and placement on side and rear proofs. The vehicle owner or operator should also confirm any current authority requirements for the proposed advertising category.
