Window graphics for Dubai shops, offices and glass interiors

A window can carry a promotion, identify your business, add privacy or simply make a glass entrance easier to recognise. The right graphic depends on what each pane must do and how it looks from both sides. Al Burooj Advertising can work from your site photographs, dimensions and approved artwork to plan the coverage, film and installation scope for shopfronts and interior glazing in Dubai.

Window graphics are not one product. A printed full-colour panel, individual cut letters, a frosted band and a perforated print produce very different visibility. If you are planning a wider exterior identity, pair the glass treatment with your storefront signage rather than asking the window alone to carry every message.

Choose coverage for each pane

Printed opaque vinyl gives a solid graphic area where you want strong colour or to conceal part of an interior. For short-term offers or shaped promotional graphics, compare window decals and graphics. Clear printed film leaves unprinted areas transparent, but artwork contrast and white-ink requirements should be checked against the background. Cut vinyl lettering is useful for a name, opening information or a small message without covering a whole pane; see window lettering and vinyl lettering.

Frosted or etched-look film can soften sightlines on a meeting room or shop window while allowing light through the covered area. Compare patterns and band heights on our custom window frosting page. Perforated film carries an external print while its openings may retain a view from inside. That effect depends on the lighting on each side of the glass; it is not reliable privacy in every condition. See one-way vision window graphics for a closer comparison.

Design for the viewing distance and the glass

Start with the message a passer-by needs to understand in a few seconds. Leave room around the logo or promotion, check the contrast against what is behind the glass and avoid important text across mullions or door hardware. A design that looks clear on a screen may be difficult to read through reflections at street level. Our creative design service can help prepare artwork and a pane-by-pane visual for approval.

Tell the team whether the graphic will be viewed from outside, inside or both. The application side, glass tint and coatings, existing film, direct sun exposure and cleaning routine can influence material selection. Do not assume that a film suited to one pane is suitable for every piece of glazing. Check any building-management, landlord or local approval requirements for a prominent shopfront before production; related planning support is described under signage plans and permits.

Installation, campaign changes and removal

Clean glass, accurate measurements and access to the full pane matter to the finished result. A door handle, seal, frame or high-level pane may affect the cut pattern and installation method. For a short campaign, say when the graphic should come down so the proposed film and removal scope can be discussed in advance. Existing graphics may require separate removal and glass preparation.

Agree whether the quotation covers artwork, proofing, print, installation, delivery, access equipment and old-film removal. For a coordinated shopfront refresh, you can also discuss sign installation alongside the glass graphics.

What to send for a useful quote

Send one straight-on photograph of the whole frontage, a closer photograph of each pane, approximate width and height per pane, the artwork or exact wording, desired coverage, installation location and required date. Mention any old film, tinted or coated glass and whether you need the interior view maintained. Al Burooj Advertising L.L.C is based in Al Quoz, Dubai; for projects elsewhere in the UAE, share the emirate and location so availability can be confirmed.

Window graphics FAQs

Which window graphic is best for a shopfront?

It depends on whether the pane needs to show a promotion, identify the business, retain a view through the glass or screen part of the interior. Share photos and pane dimensions so printed vinyl, cut lettering, clear film, frosted film and perforated film can be compared for your specific window.

Can customers still see through perforated window graphics?

Perforated film has small openings that can allow a view through from the darker side while displaying a printed graphic on the brighter side. The effect changes with lighting, artwork and viewing position. It should not be treated as guaranteed one-way privacy, especially at night when the interior is brighter.

What is the difference between frosted and opaque film?

Frosted film diffuses the view through the glass and admits some light; opaque film blocks the view through the covered area. Coverage can be full-height, partial or cut to a pattern. Check the required sightline and any glass-door visibility requirements before choosing.

Can graphics be installed on the inside of the glass?

Some films and print constructions can be applied to the inside and viewed through glass; others are intended for the exterior surface. Check the viewing side, glazing type, tint or coatings and access before artwork and material selection.

Can you print my logo or promotion on clear film?

A clear printed film can carry a logo or promotion while leaving parts of the glass transparent. Colour, white ink, contrast and visibility need checking against the interior and exterior background. Send approved artwork and a photo of the actual pane.

Are window graphics removable?

Some products are selected for shorter-term campaigns and may be easier to remove than permanent-looking installations. Removal effort and residue depend on film, adhesive, age, glass condition and exposure. Ask for the intended campaign period and removal scope to be stated in the quotation.

How should window graphics be cleaned after installation?

Follow the care guidance for the selected film and allow the installer-recommended settling time before cleaning. Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth and a suitable mild cleaner; avoid scraping or directing high-pressure water at the edges. Ask what cleaning method and removal precautions apply to your actual material.

How do I measure windows for a quote?

Measure each glass pane separately, noting width and height, door handles, mullions and any areas the graphic must avoid. Wide and close-up photos help check the layout. Final production dimensions should be confirmed against the site before printing.

How much do window graphics cost in Dubai?

Price depends on pane sizes, coverage, film and print specification, artwork preparation, quantity, installation access and whether old graphics must be removed. Request an itemised quote that states materials, fitting, delivery and any access equipment.

What should I send to start a window graphics project?

Send site photos, each pane size, the message or approved logo, preferred coverage, installation address, required date and whether the job is temporary. Mention existing tint, coatings or old film so suitability and preparation can be reviewed.
