vehicle branding and car wrap design, dubai

CHOOSE YOUR SOLUTION

Vehicle branding: full wrap, partial graphics or lettering?

Lettering and logos: focus on your business name, service and contact details without covering large areas of the vehicle.

Partial graphics: use selected panels for a larger design while leaving some original paint visible. Ask which panels and edges are included.

Full wrap: create a more extensive visual treatment across the agreed body panels. “Full” does not automatically include glass, roof, trim or door interiors, and we agree the coverage in writing.

Choose coverage around your message

A clear company name and contact detail may need less space than a product-led campaign. Review the design from the side and rear, and check where doors, handles and panel joins interrupt it. Keep the main message readable rather than treating each panel as a brochure.

Fleet branding is a coordinated layout

For a mixed fleet, agree the common logo, colours and information hierarchy, then adapt the artwork to each model. A van layout cannot simply be stretched onto a car or bus. List model variations and replacement vehicles before agreeing the print quantities.

Find your vehicle or graphic type

Choose a vehicle-specific service or a graphic format below. If you are comparing more than one option, include them in the same enquiry rather than submitting separate requests.

What to send for a vehicle branding quote

  • Vehicle details: make, model, year, quantity and any body-style variations.
  • Current photographs: both sides, front and rear, plus close-ups of existing graphics or damaged areas.
  • Coverage: lettering, selected panels or a wider wrap; identify any areas to exclude.
  • Brand assets: logo files, colours, approved Arabic and English wording, and the contact details to display.
  • Preparation: tell us about repainting, coatings, repairs or old graphics that may need assessment or removal.
  • Scheduling: your location, target date and how long each vehicle can be made available.

Do not worry if you cannot identify the exact vinyl or finish. Start with the vehicle and intended result; the material and application scope need to be agreed as part of the quotation.

What affects the cost?

The vehicle shape, area covered, design work, film specification, finishing, existing-graphic removal and application time all affect the quote. For fleets, model variations and the number of separate artwork layouts also matter. A price for a logo on two doors is not directly comparable with a multi-panel printed wrap.

Ask the quote to identify included panels, artwork preparation, material and finish, removal work, application and any separately charged approvals. Check the treatment of replacement graphics and additional vehicles rather than assuming a future order will have the same scope.

Check vehicle condition before choosing film

Photographs help start the conversation, but suitability needs an assessment of the actual vehicle. Identify repaired or repainted panels, peeling finishes, coatings and existing graphics before work is agreed. Do not treat a wrap as a repair for an unsuitable paint surface.

Ask for the proposed film specification, finish, relevant warranty terms and care instructions. Material selection should reflect the panel shape and intended application. Manufacturer guidance such as 3M’s fleet-film selection guide explains why application and maintenance matter; this reference is not a claim that a particular brand is included in your quote.

Plan approvals alongside the artwork

For Dubai commercial-vehicle advertising, consult Mada Media’s vehicle advertising permit service for current eligibility, designs, documents and conditions. Its requirements address Arabic content, vehicle ownership and permitted advertising areas. Review these before approving a layout, especially where glass coverage, a leased vehicle or a colour change is involved.

Check who will handle the application and whether any assistance or fees are included in the quotation. An artwork proof is not a permit, and this page does not promise approval. For a vehicle registered or used elsewhere in the UAE, confirm the applicable requirements with the relevant authority.

FROM BRIEF TO HANDOVER

From vehicle list to agreed fitting plan

Plan around vehicle availability, not only your campaign date. Check the work and schedule before taking a vehicle out of service.

  1. Review the vehicle and brief
Identify models, condition, coverage and any old-graphic removal.
  2. Agree the specification
Check the film, finish, included panels, artwork and application costs.
  3. Approve each vehicle layout
Check the name, Arabic and English wording, contact details and relevant approvals before production.
  4. Arrange application and handover
Check vehicle drop-off, availability and collection arrangements, then ask for material-specific care guidance.

Vehicle branding questions, answered

Not for every brief. Lettering can suit a clear company name and contact detail; partial graphics allow a larger design on selected panels. A full wrap offers wider coverage but needs a clearly agreed panel list. Compare readability, the intended appearance and the complete scope, not coverage alone.

The quote depends on the vehicle model, covered area, design, film and finish, preparation and application work. Existing-graphic removal and separate layouts for different fleet models can change the scope. Send vehicle photos and the quantity so the options can be compared; there is no single price that covers all vehicles.

The schedule depends on coverage, preparation, artwork and approvals, and the number of vehicles. Ask for the expected drop-off and collection arrangements for your particular job before booking. For a fleet, discuss batches so you can plan which vehicles remain available for work.

Tell us about old graphics, repairs, repainting or coatings before the quote is agreed. The surface and existing material need assessment; removal or preparation may be a separate part of the job. Do not assume that applying new graphics over the current surface will be suitable.

Removal outcomes depend on the film, its age, the paint condition and the removal method. Identify repaired or repainted areas before application and ask about the proposed film’s removal guidance. No blanket damage-free promise should replace an assessment of your vehicle.

Provide approved wording in both languages and your trading name as shown in the relevant business documents. Review spelling, reading order and the layout for every vehicle model. Check the applicable advertising conditions before approving production, and confirm any language-preparation assistance separately.

Ask for the care instructions for the actual film and finish supplied. Clean the graphics regularly using a suitable method and report lifting edges or damage promptly. Cleaning products, pressure-washing limits and removal advice should follow that film manufacturer’s instructions, not a generic guarantee.

Yes. Send the emirate, vehicle locations, model list and quantities. Al Burooj Advertising L.L.C is based in Al Quoz, Dubai; vehicle movement and any work outside Dubai must be agreed for the project. Do not assume that mobile installation at every location is included.

For Dubai commercial vehicles, Mada Media lists an advertising design and mock-up showing all four sides of the vehicle, plus a copy of a Dubai-issued trade licence. Other vehicle categories may require additional documents. Check the current Mada Media permit requirements before production; an artwork proof is not a permit.
