Frequently asked questions
How is the size of my neon sign measured?
The size you choose is the width of the sign at its widest point. The height depends on your text, font and number of lines.
How many letters can I fit on my sign?
It depends on the size and the font. Each line has a letter limit that is shown under the text box, and the box will not let you type more. For example, a 20 inch sign fits up to 8 letters per line and 3 lines. Bigger sizes fit more letters.
What is a big font?
Big fonts are bold display fonts: Audiowide, Tilt Neon, Bungee Outline, Quicksand, Monoton, Orbitron and Rampart One. They use thicker neon, so fewer letters fit on each line.
Are spaces counted as letters?
No. Spaces are free. You only pay for the letters, numbers and symbols in your text.
Can I use my neon sign outdoors?
Yes. Choose "For outdoor use (water resistant)" under Sign usage and we will make your sign water resistant.
What comes with my sign?
Your sign comes with a power adaptor for the plug type you choose, a remote and dimmer (free with every sign), and the mounting hardware you select.
How do I hang my sign?
Choose mounting screws to fix the sign to a wall, a ceiling hanging rope to hang it from the ceiling, or a wall hanging chain to hang it from a single hook. You can choose more than one.
How long will my neon sign last?
Our LED neon has a lifespan of more than 50,000 hours. It uses little power and makes no heat or noise.
When will I receive my sign?
Pick your delivery date in the last step. Standard delivery is free, and faster dates are available for an extra fee. Dates are counted in working days, Monday to Friday, for orders placed before 2 pm.
Which colours can I choose?
18 single colours, Static Multicolor (each letter or part in its own fixed colour) or Multi Color (RGB colour changing with the remote).
Which backboard can I choose?
Styles: Cut to Letter, Rectangle Backboard, Cut to Shape or Fine Cut. Colours: Clear / Transparent, Green, Lemon Yellow, Red, Blue, Purple, Orange, Gray, Dark Brown, Black, Gold Mirror, Silver Mirror or Custom Color.
Which power plug will I get?
Choose the plug for your country when you order: USA / CANADA 120V, UAE / UK / IRELAND 230V, EUROPE 230V, AUSTRALIA / NZ 230V or JAPAN 100V. UAE / UK / IRELAND 230V is selected by default.
How is my sign packed?
Choose wooden box, carton box or reusable wooden box. Any extra cost shows when you select it.
