Frequently asked questions

Can vinyl banners be used outdoors?

Yes. Our vinyl is waterproof and tear resistant, so banners work outside as well as indoors. For long term use in strong sun, choose the 16 oz premium upgrade with UV resistant print.

Should I choose grommets or pole pockets?

Grommets are metal eyelets around the edge, ideal for tying the banner to a fence, wall or frame with rope or cable ties. Pole pockets are sleeves for a pole, ideal for banner stands and hanging from a rod. Choose None if you only need hemmed edges.

Can I order a size that is not listed?

Yes. Choose Custom size and enter the width and height in whole feet, from 1 x 1 ft up to 30 x 30 ft. The price updates as you type.

Can I print on both sides?

Yes. Choose Both Sides and we print your design on the front and the back, so it can be read from either direction.

Will I see my design before it is printed?

Yes. We email you a free digital proof and only start printing once you approve it. You can ask for changes at this stage.

What file types can I upload?

AI, EPS, PDF and PSD give the best results. We also accept JPG, PNG, SVG, GIF, BMP and TIFF. If you do not have artwork ready, choose Help with Artwork and our designers will prepare it for you.
